OOC BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Prepare to be a part of OOC Sports Academy’s 15-week basketball league for athletes aged 5-17! Every Saturday from February 1, 2025, to May 10, 2025, your athlete will engage in an hour of skill development practice, followed by game days with tailored formats for each age group.

OOC Sports Academy invites you to participate in our 15-week basketball league for athletes aged 5-17. Enroll your athlete for an exciting opportunity that goes beyond just playing games. This league offers 15 weeks dedicated to learning essential skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamental rules of basketball. Your athlete will have a great time while developing their abilities in a positive and encouraging environment. Every Saturday from February 1, 2025, to May 10, 2025, your athlete will benefit from 1 hour of skill development during practice sessions and 20 minutes of game time on game days. The game day format includes two 10-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime. For our younger participants aged 5-10, they will play on a lowered hoop using a smaller basketball. On game days, for those aged 5-7, they will play with equal playing time. There will be 5 on 5 play for athletes aged 8-17. This league is structured to be competitive, particularly for younger participants aged 5-10, who will concentrate on mastering fundamentals, fostering teamwork, demonstrating sportsmanship, and grasping the rules of the game. For athletes aged 11-17, this is an excellent chance to further enhance their skills, especially for those who may not have made their school team, were cut, or are seeking additional playing time and practice. Our league focuses on player development, making it ideal for athletes eager to improve their fundamentals, boost their basketball IQ, and gain valuable court experience. Whether they're preparing for upcoming tryouts, looking for more playing opportunities, or aiming to refine their skills, this league provides the perfect platform. Players will have the chance to practice their shooting, ball handling, defense, and decision-making skills, all while receiving personalized coaching from our experienced staff.
